Remlok helmet in VR

I have a request: the next time you're in Elite VR, can you briefly switch off your life support in the modules menu and see how the helmet shader displays?

What I think should be showing is the faint white lines and semicircles on the outside edges of your vision like in the 2D version of the game, but I'm getting it per eye. It's like each eye has its own little helmet on :)

It's a super-minor problem as I don't lose life support that often and only noticed it recently due to a Thargoid assisted canopy existence test. It's not something I can screenshot as f10 only takes the monitor view.

That's weird. I died a slow death in the cone of a white dwarf the other night, and I remember just marveling at it all in VR. The canopy blowout, the helmet display, and eventually the gasping breath. It was an intense experience. Anyway, the helmet displays correctly for me, I don't see any of the issues you describe. If you're on Oculus you can open the debug mirror and record it. It should show exactly what you see in your HMD.

Never seen what the op describes. Here's a smuggling run from a month ago, visor displays correctly.

Edit - Actually considering the image is taken from one eye, it would seem the op is correct. It's not something I notice whilst in VR

Thanks for the replies, I've submitted a bug report which QA have already replied to - they're aware of the issue and are looking into it.

It's a strange little thing, like double vision in your peripheral vision, but thankfully not a situation that crops up too often.
