Remote Outpost Question

I've been exploring around in Elysian Shores and am wondering how many remote outpost are there in the Elite galaxy? Is there a list? I know of two in this general area, Gorgon Research Facility and Flaming Star Logistics. How would I find any other ones?

The usual trick is to use "civilization" filter on the Galmap Around the Bubble almost all large nebulae have some human settlements.

As for the list, I don't know, however this expedition used known remote bases in that area as it's waypoints.

There isn't an in-game list; you need to use either external tools like EDDB or Inara (or, for more remote outposts, the EDSM galactic map with "deep space outposts" highlighted), or switch your galaxy map to a mode which excludes unpopulated systems (like switching to the "Economy" or "Allegiance" filter, then delselecting "None"), and scroll the blank map around until you see a star (that is how the Colonia outpost was originally discovered).

Another alternative, one that includes regions and a heatmap: EDAstro's interactive galaxy map. Make sure you enable POI Markers, remote starports, bases and such all have their own respective icons.

Thanks everyone. jujst checked out those links. Seems like I am far away from most outpost. Going to try the galmap now.
