Remove 10% penalty on ship sale.

I know, people are going to say we need the money sink. I feel that is an orthogonal argument and even if we accept it as true, the money-sink can be elsewhere.

(1) You're changing ships' stats -- Understandable, you need to balance.
-- Maybe your changes mean that the Python doesn't fit someone's purpose anymore, and it's not through any fault of theirs. The -universe- changed out from under them.

(2) It discourages trying any of the more expensive ships.
-- I'm flying a clipper, because I was pretty damn certain I'd enjoy it. I thought about buying a T7 before I got there and the main reason I decided against it is that it would cost me 1.7 million credits to try it out. So I didn't. Still don't know what the T7 is like, and I probably never will as it's not worth 1.7 million to find out.

As a second suggestion: Normalize the sale of ships/modules. Selling modules to save the money you'd lose if you traded the ship in is simply an exercise in tediousness and pointlessly punishes players who don't know that you can do it.

You've made several design choices where you chose gameplay over realism. I suggest that this be another.

+1

It also discourages any outside the box playing in regards to comfort zone.

Strangely enough I did not know about the 10% loss until after buying a second T7 just to check what outfitting the station had(as opposed to what my ship was wearing) and selling it without leaving the dock I realised how much $ I had been wasting on trading back and forth from my T7 and ASP. I was dead set buying an Orca and flying to a tourism station but you can guess if I am keen to loose my pythons value trying this. Not at this time sorry.

I will have my Mining/hunting Dropship alongside my trade Python before I try an Orca at this rate. It is a shame really.

10% affects all equipment not only ships.

Given I spent a large sum trying all kinds of equipment setups for Viper and Cobra ( well over 20 million only in guns ) I simply do not care.

No opinion on this. The removal of the "sell fee" will not affect my gameplay. Obviously a "enhanced" wallet is always welcome but this kind of deal is a norm in every game I can think of that deal with trades.

Where I got gotted was knowing that trading my modules did not net me any loss so I assumed it was for ships as well. I do not have acess but perhaps this is the point behind the Founders world 10% off thing.
