Black screen = loading, usually, isn't it? It's probably required for technical reasons 😕

Really I can't work out whether the post is talking about something that has been there since the beginning of the game or something the OP is experiencing recently. It could be the SRV going into the ship hanger, or the pilot exiting the ship to walk to the concourse or etc.....I mean just guessing here at the moment so it's a waste of time going much further until we have more info.
