General Remove internal bulkheads in the ship.

I long for the days when all the weapons and modules were individual for each commander. I understand that in this case it is more difficult to calculate the balance of ships, etc.

My suggestion is to remove all bulkheads in the OPTIONAL INTERNAL.
I.e. for each ship it will be just one number and that's it.

For example, the total size of 16.
I could put in there
1. two class 8 cargo bays (2 x 8) or
2. three class 6 shield cell (3 x 6)
etc.

Or 16 heavy duty engineered class one HRPs giving over 3300 hull in what would be a small ship. It would require a good deal of fiddling with numbers to get this right. Either you then give NPCs the same (complaints about bullets sponges) or you make player ships even more indestructible against NPCs (complaints about removing all risk from the game).

Kind of defeats the point of the universal limpet controllers as well.

All these modules can only affect the protection of the ship and no more. Or just a peaceful influence, a big truck.

It would make ship interiors more complicated as there would be so many more possibilities to model. So obviously the answer is : no thanks.
I was thinking about that.

I don't think it will make the interiors of the ship much more complicated than the existing ones. I mean, I think that if they ever do ship interiors, it won't be more complicated than in the proposal.
