Remove MouseOver Events from Starmaps or make it optional

Hi.
I guess I have to be the only one in the world, but at least for me please:
- make a settings-parameter that allows to switch off all the forced mouseover events within the galaxy map and also the planetary system map
MouseOver -> DoClick (whats wrong with clicking nowadays??)

why?

i frequently find myself in any of the maps trying to circle around with my mousepointer for keeping focus on an object, while in the need to scroll up or down somewhere else.
moving the mousepointer over another "hot" element means focus is lost and the odyssey starts again...

or is there a way to already achieve what i want?? [where is it]

I second this!
It's really annoying when you're just moving the mouse cursor on the galaxy and it latches to some star in the background, then the overlay pops up, blocks everything and there isn't even a reliable way to dismiss it.
Same thing on the system map. Especially in systems with few planets it can be a real hassle to select the space station when it's constantly blocked by the info overlay of the sun or planet to the left of it...
Would be nice if anything could be done about this.

you are not the only one. i've hesitated making a suggestion since there are time i desire it. maybe a toggle would be best.

also, keyboard shortcuts for navigating the selection features may alleviate some of the pain

Another vote to *toggle* (not remove) the mouse-over feature from me.

Also, pretty pretty please fix the hover box in VR - it's not properly displayed in the 3D view (In general, please improve Galaxy & System maps for VR).

I am also in favour of this,. and I noticed yet another place where they have mouse over, the Galnet.... I was navigating with keys, and it would all of a sudden switch article, seemingly at random until I noticed that it would always switch to the article under the mouse cursor.... GAH....

I do not get why click on stuff to select them is considered "bad".....
