Remove The Stats

hey devs ...

i happened to look at my stats while traveling to a cz and my goodness, its all incorrect!!!

~ crafting info is incorrect - the number of weapons ive fully modded is 8? no its not, i only modded 3 and 1 of the 3 isnt fully modded!
btw, i never even modded ship weapons cause i dont use ship weapons!
~ search and rescue info is incorrect - 58 panels cut? nah, its more like double or triple that amount!
~ i never mined a day in my life and yet ive collected 5k items?
~ i have only killed 2 skimmers? thats a lie!

this is all incorrect/incomplete info and pretty useless now since its not correct!

so, why not remove this feature and save on resources?

it might even give us better performance,

-The crafting info displays the number of rolls, not the number of modules crafted iirc.
-Sometimes you think you did a lot more than you actually did. This happened to be before. I thought my total playtime was a lot higher than the stats displayed but then I go back and manually calculated and found that the stats were accurate.
-The collected items might be counting collection of engineering materials as well. To be honest I'm not really sure which stat you're referring to.
-Do you have a rough estimate on how many you've actually killed? Because judging by your previous line, quote "I don't use ship weapons", your total skimmer kill count might not be as high as you think.

If you are 100% certainly that all of the stats are incorrect, you should try relogging and checking the stats again. Sometimes they messed up slightly due to a server hiccup or something.

Removing stats is extremely unlikely to yield any performance improvement whatsoever. And no, just because you don't like the stats, doesn't mean others don't like it as well.
