Powerplay Removing allegiance?

I managed to set myself up as a supporter of Felicia Winters but now I don't know how to remove my allegiance. Truth be told I don't even remember how I set myself up.

Left hand screen -> Galactic Powers -> Select the portrait of Felicia -> Click 'Defect' near the bottom of the screen.

Don't defect. If you do so, her agents will Hunt you down. Click leave and you're fine. You want to defect only when you are high rank and want to transport that rank to another power.
