Horizons Removing "Elite: Dangerous 2.2" Watermark???

Is there any way to remove the E: D 2.2 watermark from the bottom left corner of the screen? I know which program I'm running thanks - very annoying!!

Yup the same with E.D. 1.7 every now and again I catch sight of it in the corner of my eye and it breaks the immersion.

They ought to switch the text to a dull grey rather than the bold white, that way when it gets left in, like it inevitably does after each patch, it won't be so distracting or immersion breaking.

I put a postit note over it with a drawing of David Braben. Makes me much happier than seeing the annoying version number.

This has to be an oversight surely? During the beta it's reasonable to be permanently reminded that it's a beta but I suspect what's happened is that, although the version has been changed to "EliteDangerous 2.2" they've forgotten to turn the on-screen warning off.

Has anyone got a bug report up and running that we can all contribute to?

It happened during 2.1 as well. Give it time.

Sooner or later one of the developers on the way to work will think:
"Did i leave the stove on? ..... Nah, It was that watermark I forgot about"

I was wondering if I just never noticed that the "BUG" had always been down there in the release version. I agree with everyone else that it serves no purpose in the release version like it does during the Beta testing process.

Hopefully this is an oversight and not someone's idea of a new feature. For one thing, the all important "POINT" number is missing, which makes it totally pointless from an information related standpoint.
