Rename lakon line?

I like how the Types are just their regular freighter line, while the others have their own special designations. If anything, I'd say that the T10 should be renamed to something else, as it is basically a keelbacked T9, which would then open up the name T10 for something more in line with the Cutter.

I guess the point is that the T10 is just a T9 with some bolted-on bits (and extra rear downforce).
That being the case, it is still part of the "T" series.

In related news, I bought a T7 last night, specifically to use for offloading stuff I've mined in my T9 so I can transport it to markets for sale.
My T9 has 256t capacity so the T7 needed to have at least 256t cargo capacity.
I bought the ship, fitted it out and found it'll carry exactly 256t of cargo and jump 25ly.

Out of curiosity, I then had a play with my Python.
Configured to a similar spec, it'll carry 256t of cargo and has space for a passenger cabin or SRV, is armed to the teeth, can jump 30Ly and land at outposts.

So I sold the T7 again, without ever taking it out of the hangar, and bought another Python instead.
That's twice I've bought a T7 and then sold it again, now. [sad]

Asp Explorer -> Type 5
Asp Scout -> Type 4
Chieftan -> Type 3
Diamondback Explorer -> Type 2
Diamondback Scout -> Type 1

There. All Lakon Ships are now a Lakon Type x.

I think size-wise Chieftain should be Type 7 and Type 7 should be Type 8.

:p

Oh, this is a fun thread.:D

We just need a medium pad trader called the type 8.

Have it be like the type 9 to the Cutter (in the beta), but against the Python. Same cargo space, cheaper, but worse in every other aspect.

It'd fit right it.
