With the up coming repair limpet's and the existing AFMU module it will be possible to repair nearly everything on your ship while out deep in the black exploring, that is except your power plant would it be possible to have a secondary power plant added to a ship in the optional module's section of the ship which can be only be used to power life support and the AFMU while you repair your main PP to make a ship truly independent of having to dock.
