Horizons Repairing an SRV

There I was minding my own business while out for a drive and somehow I rolled my SRV and now it show its' status at 95%. How and where do I get my SRV repaired or does the SRV self repair when I load it back on my ship?

You can do this easily via synthesis (right pane > Inventory > Synthesis). Learn how to find ore on the planets, and then find nickel and iron which are quite abundant. Those will stack up pretty quickly which should allow you to repair on the fly.

I spend an hour on a metal rich planet today and have 8 repairs stacked up which do go a ways.

Same goes for refueling though I've found that I have far worse luck finding phosphorous.
