Repairing Damaged Stations

For this to happen at all... We need to focus all our effort on each station One at a time....
I would like to propose that the community focus repairs on the Oracle first...
It has closer proximity to Sol and was one of the first stations to be hit.

While I totally agree that some kind of focused effort is the way to go... The term "Herding Cats" comes to mind when considering the likely success of such an undertaking. ;)

Couple that with a CG scale effort but with none of the usual CG rewards, and the term "Hopeless" comes to mind instead. ;)

The fact that Frontier was forced to change the repair reporting frequency from every 10% of progress to every 1% of progress, yet most stations still show little if any advancement speaks volumes.

The level of disconnect here on the part of Frontier and their ED community is beyond stunning.

The odds are against us. That's good, if it was easy... it wouldn't be worth it.

I've been delivering superconductors for the last couple of hours and I've seen a raise by 2% in the total for this at the Oracle.

FD and the Thargoids don't want us to succeed. Give them the figurative middle finger and show them they are wrong. Show them humanity can do it.

You don't need even need to do a lot. Give it a run and you're making a difference. Make operation Cerberus work.

Indeed. But what if the community could raise it up to say 98% and hold it there until we have a clearer idea of whats going on, or until two or three stations are at that level, then push them over to 100% in rapid succession?

I know, its a lot to ask, more just thinking aloud.

Also, I think you might get more interest in fixing up Obsidian Orbital once its fires go out. Presumably this time next week.

There seems to be a lot of negativity about repairing the stations, but the totals for each station are not unlike the typical trade CG.

While it might not be particularly profitable, fixing up a station does seem like one of the few ways we currently have to affect what is going on within the game. I'm definitely up for dropping a few Cutter loads at the Oracle.

But I dont want to repair the oracle first.

Highly recommend a focused effort on Obsidian Orbital when that is possible; it's the most critical service point for the Pleiades, which is where the many legged menace is most active. Sol is the least likely place to be hit, pretty much ever, frankly. Frontier are protecting commanders; Sol won't fall.

The Oracle is currently the top in percentages amongst repairable stations...
Beryllium - 12%
Aluminum - 10%
Superconductors - 11%
Auto-Fabricators - 12%
....
Keep up the good work...
we should continue to focus on those commodities.

And some great repairs happening on Obsidian Orbital too 18% copper.

I agree with the original consensus to get Oracale back up in running. It does take a quite a while to get the materials though, I'm surprised they didn't make the material amount needed just a bit lower.

What is Sol? A small system with 2 earthlikes and some gas giants. There are thousands of that in the galaxy.
Me as imperial commanders doesn't care what happens to Sol.

We should bring back Obsidian Orbital first! It's not in Aegis control and it was the very first station in the Pleiades. It's the most important point there.
Nobody cares about federal scum or Aegis.
