Reported multi GPU support and large improvements to latency and framerate with DirectX 12

It usually takes about 6-18 months for this kind of thing to filter down to mainstream games in any meaningful way. I doubt that frontier will be in any particular hurry to release a DX12 version. I guess they may look into it and upgrade the game with a big DLC like planetary landings if progress is good and it seems viable. The API's are typically backwards compatible though sometimes legacy stuff gets dropped causing problems.

I'd not expect anything from Frontier, even if it becomes available.
CCP will likely do what they can with EVEValkyrie, just no idea if that game is going to be more than an arena shooter.

War thunder did a good job of supporting various DX Api's. You choose which one you want to use from the launcher. There is no reason something like this couldn't happen eventually with ED too. It doesn't make much sense to adopt it exclusively though. Not when the uptake of Win8.x among gamers is comparatively low and DX12 is likely going to be a Windows 10 exclusive.

What is the deal on that game EVE Valkrie? Wasn't that supposed to be out over a yr ago?
