The other night, I stumbled across a crash site PoI out near the bubble-side fringe at the border of my jump range, with 6 or 7 legal occupied escape pods. I don't think I could even have gone back home with them on board, and even so, adding that kind of mass to my ship would have made the upcoming parts of my trip painful.
Now I'm feeling guilty for letting them rot there.
I would like if there was a way to report such sites back to SAR, and get some small reward like vouchers or data in return. There could, e.g., be a scannable emergency beacon in those sites allowing that kind of interaction.
