Reputation at Robigo Mines

I'm trying to do a smuggling mission at Robigo Mines but unfortunately I don't have enough reputation to accept any of the missions available. There are not other mission where I can improve my reputation, so mi question is, how to improve it in order to unlock those missions?

Selling exploration data and bounties will raise rep with the controlling faction. As will selling things they want on the commodity market.

What is your reputation with the factions at Robigo?
Try killing some wanted ships in the system and turning in the bounties at robigo. That should help raise your reputation.

I've made 4 trading run to Robigo from Sothis (110t each), and sold around 50k of cartographics. But my reputation simply won't change.

Does it matter if the system is locked down?

I'm not sure that anything you can buy at Sothis will be in demand at Robigo - I think the rep increase is tied to both demand and profit, but most of the economies on the Sothis Spur are very similar...you'll probably need to venture back to the edge of the bubble to find a supply of what they're looking for.
I've handed in 170k of exploration data at R.Mines and while it did increase my rep, it's not enough to get to cordial and access the first tier of missions.

I take it Sothis Gold is a rare? I actually ran into the same problem with Robigo. Would filling my hold up with rares and selling them all off in Robigo make decent headway with their rep?

Also, wouldn't that only work for the controlling faction, and not the minors?

Sothis Gold is a rare.

Your REP increase would only be for the controlling faction of that station. AFAIK rep increase is based on profit and rares give the largest profit margins.
