Powerplay Reputation gain for powerplay actions

When we undermine in a particular system, we lose reputation for the faction controlling the system regardless of which power the ships you're destroying are aligned to (need confirmation but the point still stands that we lose reputation for undermining).

(Suggestion:)

It would be nice to be rewarded with a reputation gain whenever we complete a powerplay action (delivering cargo or submitting vouchers). Since the Allied status decays over time, the tendency is that you'd lose that allied status even if you're working for that major faction under the umbrella of a power.

When involving cargo, we can gain reputation from the controlling faction in the system we're sourcing the materials from or delivering them to (whichever makes more sense).

When involving kill vouchers, we can gain reputation from the controlling faction in the system where we're submitting the vouchers.

I'm ok with reputations, but after seeing how disastrous allowing undermining to affect the BGS was, I don't want anything PP related to affect the BGS again unless it has been tested and fine-tuned for many months first.

I agree - while no one is seemingly entirely certain what powerplay actions (especially undermining) does to the background simulation, I'm not keen on having it have a bigger influence on it, but I very much agree that it's silly that undermining systems makes us exceedingly hostile to the controlling faction as well as the major power, while fortifications does absolutely nothing for our reputation. Given the value of powerplay goods (10,000 credits/ton), it only seems reasonable that their exchange (picking up/dropping off) affects our reputation with the controlling faction and major power of the systems involved.

For example, I find it ridiculous that I've done as much work as I have for the Prime Minister of the Alliance in terms of merit hauling, yet I am only rated as "Friendly" towards them. That just doesn't make any sense at all.

I agree that introducing anything BGS more than reputation to Powerplay will need intensive testing to avoid ill or unwanted effects. Removed that from my OP to update my position.
