Were you looking at faction or superpower rep?

No, I am King and Rear Admiral
Doesn't mean you can't have trash rep with either minor factions or superpowers.

Just looking for the possibility that you were looking at one of those reps on one occasion, then a different one on a different occasion.

I never said it did you ask whether I was confusing the two I responded to that

Yeah, there's a lot that could be going on here and any further conversation is probably just going to confuse the issue unless we know exactly who you lost rep with.

You either know what rep you lost or you don't. And the circumstances surrounding it. If you can't provide the key info then there really is no point in asking the question.

There is superpower reputation and rank. King & Rear Admiral are your superpower ranks, not reputation.
And then there is minor faction reputation.
There are lots of ways to lower reputation. The easiest ways are to blow up a faction's ships or abandon/fail missions.

When you finish a mission, you get given both local faction rep (the faction who issued the mission) and superpower rep (the superpower the faction is aligned with). Both are displayed when cashing in such a mission.

It's very possible you were looking at superpower rep when cashing in your missions, thinking it was the local faction rep by accident. Then when you logged in today, you looked at the local faction rep, and saw it wasn't full... because you were looking at the wrong rep.

Another option is you actually mean superpower rep, which does decay over time.

Alternately again, you could've been cashing missions that were actually tanking the rep of a faction you thought you were allied with.

And there's a bunch more options... but unless you clarify if you mean local faction rep or superpower rep, it's hard to give you any clarity.

You're the only one who has mentioned your ranks, which have nothing to do with either local faction or superpower rep....

Yes I am confused. Because you are asking a question but are incapable of providing the key information. And you are mixing up major faction rank and rep, minor faction rep, and combat rank. These are all mixed up in your posts without actually specifying the rep you lost. Are you trolling? Because at this point it appears so.

Good luck with life. and stuff. 👍

Perhaps they've not used the language I'd have used, but they're essentially correct in that there's literally nothing anyone can do to help you with the information you've provided and you're not trying to add anything else.

People do know what they're talking about on here and none of us are sure what you're referring to - otherwise someone would have solved the issue. If you could provide a bit more information, maybe someone could help.

Or don't, and prove Greasetrap right I suppose.

can anyone advise?
ive read the thread and i dont think so.
just kidding :p
however it would be really helpful (when i say helpful i mean necessary) if you could provide more information. theres at least a dozen things that couldve happened
could you please try and recollect
with whom were you building rep
what missions were you doing before logout
what exactly was the reputation change after login
what missions are you missing

When I docked I handed 6 missions I think I logged off when I logged back in most of the missions available to me were now no longer available to me due to lack of Reputation I have done a mission of five stations all to doing combat kills in one mission system I had no mission not showing because of lack of reputation?

6 missions isn't going to get you much rep with the local faction (and will be more or less depending on a bunch of factors), and unless you have allied rep, there's always a chance of getting offered a mission with higher rep requirements than you have (up to allied).

Rep requirements aren't based on mission type, rather based on mission difficulty. A massacre mission for 8 kills will have a lower rep requirement than one for 30 kills.

That and mission board generation is usually clumpy... if you get offered a mission with one set of requirements, you'll usually get a few like that.

Ones with a higher rep requirement at usually:
  • high value
  • criminal
  • covert; or
  • VIP (for passenger)

Tl;dr you haven't lost rep... you just had bad luck and the board generated a bunch of missions you couldn't take due to the rep requirements. It happens sometimes.

Some screenshots of the mission board for the faction your trying to take missions from would also be useful for some more detail.

Well, I tried. At this point all I can tell is you don't want help, you just want to argue with people.

Guess you can work this out all on your own.
