Played ED on PS4 (felt it did not do the game justice) I am stepping up to a PC platform.
Questions: Do I need to subscribe to a game provider ie. steam xbox ect.?
Should I subscribe to a provider?
If not where do I go online for server access?
Anything else should I know?

I like steam for some things but not ED. Just go to the Frontier website and buy a PC copy of the sim, download the launcher from there, set up the shortcut, and install the game directly. Easy and fairly quick if you’ve got decent internet connectivity. Check back here if you have any questions. I’m assuming you have an internet connection if you could get your PS4 online.

agreed I have had steam for years and I have had elite purchased direct from frontier developments since ED launch and although I had the option to merge both the accounts when frontier joined forces with steam 6 months after frontier first launched the game ,
I never have.
