The request is fairly straightforward and I know straight off the bat it's probably one for the wishlist, but I definitely would like to see it
Stars show up differently in different spectrums, the Wolf-Rayet stars for example are shedding loads of mass at a ridiculous speed and although they can get to several million times brighter than the sun, their visual brightness isn't much different. If you could have an Ultraviolet filter that could be applied to your cockpit windows, then you would see it for all it's glory. You would see the entire of the galaxy background in a different way.
So the idea. 4 interchangeable filters: Standard, Ultraviolet, X-ray, Gamma-ray. They would need to apply to all the windows in the cockpit.
I personally don't see this as a module that you would have to buy, I would imagine it could come as standard on all ships, though I'm open to reasons against that.
