Straight forward, I think this game could use a docking queue. I understand that stations only have a fixed number of landing pads so there is a limited number of ships that can land. But right now I've waited over half an hour to dock at Kadenyuk Orbital in the Kini System. Together with 10 to 20 other pilotes. So a fix queue would be nice, once I request docking the station tells me there are x ships in front of me. And when those ships have landed I get permission to land.

You are not alone, this few days many have said the same, and if you only look in this forum, only today its around 2-3 of this request on the first page. So it is really a need, I have also been stuck a long time at smaller stations. and it is a pain that people that arrive affter than you, get inn before you, becouse they did hit request docking in the right sec.
Well that work, But I think is wrong that is a MMO there you need to go in solo game to get the changes to buy or sell things at the stations... That take half of the point of the game away.
Que would be nice. Getting a voice telling you to stand by due to heavy traffic and then get the "go ahead" when its your turn. That would be a good mechanic indeed, and realistic. Right now you dont really know why you arent granted to dock. First times i thought i had done something bad or that i didnt have rep enough etc.
you are not alone, at the first I did believe I had done something wrong. or it was a faction thing. But after a while I find out it is because of all the docks is full.
i agree seeing as thoes orbital stations the small 1's only have 1 single medium dock pad....
And I would agree with you, but as a casual gamer sometimes I don't have the time to sit, wait & admire the gorgeous views of this amazing game
Agree 100% & am sure that FD will implement something sooner rather than later, even if it's just to alleviate the "Docking request denied".
Not required just fit all ships as standard with a docking computer. Queuing could be built in. Commander you are 5th in the queue. Your docking is very important to us please hold in space.
