Request for a new tool !!!

I enjoy stealth in Odyssey. For my great surprise it works. But there is no way to make NPC lose consciousness without killing it.
It would be great if ENERGYLINK in a overcharge more do not kill NPC but make it lose consciousness for a 10 minutes. It would open more options for pessimistic stealth gameplay, When i do not want to kill a person but i need to have free pass in specific aria for a short amount of time.

BUT if ENERGYLINK stop killing how player will silently takedown NPCs? And here a solution:Use ENERGYLINK to make NPC lose consciousness and then kill it with melee attack

As bonuses!!! Making a NEW ENERGYLINK (as i suggested) or giving players new tool that will be able to make NPC lose they consciousness create an opportunity for new missions type for example: capture a person or bring criminal alive.

Just imagine that you fight your way thought settlement that controlled by mafia to capture it leader alive.

capture a person or bring criminal alive.
Do tell how that works - without some kind of drag-body function etc

or do you just plan to stand over the body shouting "WHAT NOW!"?

(I really don't get why people are so into non-lethal - just accept it - you're a killer, just like you always have been in your ship)

To me, the overcharge taser is a very smart mechanic that allows you to kill murder more people with less ammunition 🤩

Also, do you really want to stay alive after having your nervous system all cooked up like that ? What about the after-effects ?

Here explanation, there is a non lethal stealing mission in Odyssey. For example steal genetic sample. 1) Sometimes 2 - 3 NPS near settlement alarm console, so its almost impossible to turn off alarm without been spotted. And you must turn it off because if you try to open sample container with alarm been ON it will trigger it.

So there is in a game non lethal missions.

2) If i want to download (steal) a data from friendly statement and i have the same problem (2 - 3 NPS near settlement alarm console) what i have to kill every one in settlement?

3) "Do tell how that works - without some kind of drag-body function etc." - yes i imply drag function.

.. or you could learn how to do it at the moment without killing or stunning anyone. That's an option. Less violence!

So you against stun mechanic and capture missions. You like to clean all settlements. Less stealth and planing i get it.
But if you dont like stealth, why you're against improving stealth mechanic if i in to it?

I was gonna say you can just shut down the power, let them die from asphyxia and turn the power back on. But I guess you count this as "lethal" 🙄
Settlement alarm console can be in power plant. Newer the less turning off reactor is triggers alarm + every NPS become "suspicious" and stealth is ruined)

More seriously speaking, I wonder if this "asphyxia" mechanic does even exist for NPC 🤔 To me it should, non-lethal gameplay can be tolerated sometimes. I mean, when no more ammo 😁

Oh you right, I forgot about that ! By the way, how about shutting down the oxygen from outside with the Maverick, does it trigger the alarm ?
Sorry, it does, I remember now 😓😓

Agreed. when i turn of oxygen in building NPC just put on helmets. I personally dont understand why there is atmospheric processors outside if NPC cant die via asphyxia

Fires don't have helmets. ;)
You telling me that oxygen in buildings is made for extinguish fire only?
Wow! its was 3307 and people put a fire down with venting oxygen out from a buildings. Well done humanity
Interesting how people will fight with fire in atmospheric wolds

Provided that I would love to see the introduction of interaction with bodies (carry, hide, etc.) and missions that involve incapacitating and capturing someone, nowadays I do ALL my non combat missions in stealth.
The best challenge is to pick up "nonviolent" missions: you CAN'T hurt anyone or the mission fails.
It is very possible to do everything without hurting anyone, and without setting off the alarms!

As a "good guy" I try not to murder my way through the game anyway. So it's all nonviolent for me.
