I did that part of the route quite recently. While there aren't many NS-es directly between the two, if you drop down to 1000 ly below the galactic plane, the neutron fields are present and quite dense there.Ok, could have been a lot worse, could have been a neutron star or white dwarf, but those are astonishingly rare between Sacaqawea Space Port and Eagle's Landing.

Don't be disheartened by the fact that we've been all over the galaxy. A lot of people might have traversed it, but not even 1% of the stars have been visited.
