I've searched for mod/UGC content and found a few comments from players boasting some success with manipulating the game files to play with textures, animations, etc. Hopefully someone has found some camera settings as well...
Even though this game is amazing as it stands, I'm left wanting more control over the ride camera, to help with more immersive dark rides and coasters. (Essentially, what I want is the ability to create a FPV perfectly centered on the track, as if riding in the cart, but without the cart being visible.)
If it is possible to alter any or all of these variables, I would be happy to compensate someone for their time:
* Ability to move a FPV coaster cam up,down,left,right using keys, similar to RCT3. (Or, just the option to raise the "bumper cam" to a height equivalent to a few feet above the track, rather than a few inches.)
* Ability to remove/reduce LOD of coaster cars to zero, similar to RCT3, thus removing the cart from the POV.
* Disable the external camera that is triggered anytime the coaster cart leaves the track. (I want to keep the FPV regardless of the cart's condition, again, similar to RCT3.)
