Request for new exploration module to reveal targetable, unresolved signal sources after the "honk."

It's been an ongoing idea and discussion for some time here...

...and more recently, here...

...and elsewhere on these forums as well.

In short, and speaking for myself at least, I would very much like the option to be able to pilot my ships in first-person at the helm while exploring, even though it would be at the disadvantage of not resolving and discovering worlds as efficiently using the FSS and potentially DSS systems, when entering a system, and when above world surfaces respectively.

The notion of using "black bodies" until worlds are resolved on the system map has come up as well, and I think this, or something similar makes sense for showing the relative positions of worlds in a system without revealing their actual locations nor any specific and varied world features and characteristics before either getting within range or of course using the FSS and DSS to resolve them. These could just as well be nondescript "blue blobs" targetable from the HUD and navigation panel, or similar.

The main purpose of this module would be to provide a rough overview of stellar systems (and possibly world surfaces POIs when within range of a world and above its surface), and more importantly to me, target information so that I can selectively (based on the circumstances) explore in first-person from the cockpit of my ships while piloting them, rather than being limited to using third-person views without the active control of piloting my ships.

This isn't meant to undermine the FSS nor DSS exploration gameplay (which would remain more cost and time effective at discovering and resolving things), but rather to provide additional options to explorers to go about exploration as they might happen to prefer, given the specifics of various scenarios they may encounter.

I think this is a fair trade at the cost of needing to buy and equip an additional size one module (since we no longer have the ADS, and have a freed up slot because of that), and the module potentially having some weight, if deemed appropriate by the devs.

Thanks, and I very much hope to see this or something similar implemented!

If I could install a module to enable the "honk" to fill in the system map, whether it's with black spheres or fully resolved visuals, I would use it in a heartbeat. I like the new FSS exploration system, but I do miss having the ability to decide whether to scan or not based on the orbital layout, in addition to the body types.
