Request for Park Rating acknowledgement option in Sandbox mode (Video sample included)


This was a request I brought up in this thread of sandbox options that could be included after update 2.0 that I wanted to expand on with a video sample.

Sandbox mode has been my go to mode when it comes to Jurassic World Evolution 2, as I could pick any building theme, map, and dinosaur, while enjoy park progression with research, expeditions, and the expected challenges of running a prehistoric park. I do think it needs a few more sandbox options such as the inclusion of tax, setting staff+park expenses, challenge mode genetics (fussy + intelligent genes), as well as the occasional urgent player choice prompt to make sandbox more of a free form challenge mode, but one thing that does stick out to me at least is how quiet sandbox mode feels when you progress and increase your park's star ratings.

Simply put, I think it would be a nice toggleable option to have the game acknowledge a park's star rating progression in a sandbox game, as the notifications from the cast of characters on your park rating is a nice update on your progression and a great motivator to keep building your park. It would also be just as satisfying of a feeling to reach a park of 5-star rating with some form of acknowledgement.
 
Definitely agree, it feels as if once you've researched everything and run out of space literally the only exciting thing that happens is having a storm...

Having the intelligence trait would be great to have, especially the Velociraptors as I personally think they're too easy to keep happy. Comfort level doesn't seem to even be an issue anymore so I hardly even get a natural Dino threat event to occur...
Even if some Dinos escape, there isn't even that much of a consequence. The staff just sit in the background, there's no such events as "Injured Dino Handler" or "Security room held hostage" by disgruntled staff in Sandbox.

There's a lot of things that need to be included/added for Sandbox. I can't wait to see what'll be added in future.

If you played Jurassic World Chaos theory's challenge map then that is indeed what I picture of wanting to go through in sandbox mode with rules that invoke a challenge and progress. The taxes, expensive costs, staff agitation, fickle dinosaurs, some intelligent carnivore members. That was my favorite kind of challenge mode as you basically could research and incubate ANY dinosaur in the roster as long as you are willing to go through the process to reach that position.

I would love that same experience in sandbox, so that I could choose any map, any building set, retain that level of challenge, and get ready for hours of going through the motions and challenges the game has in store.
 
I want to highlight this request again now that we have Custom Challenge Mode. It feels very empty that the game does not acknowledge your ratings progression in Custom Challenge mode and I would love for it to be at least implemented in Custom Challenge mode if reaching a 5-star park is set as one of your custom challenge goals.
