Request for Player Faction Registration Exception

Dear Frontier Support Team,

I hope this message finds you well. My name is MrFlokiG, and I represent a squadron of dedicated players in Elite Dangerous. We are a passionate and active group with a shared goal of establishing our own player faction within the game.

We are aware of the temporary suspension of the faction creation process, but we kindly request consideration for an exception in our case.

Our squadron, UASR Ukrainian Space Republic, has 38 active participants, and 84 additional players have expressed their willingness to join if our faction is officially registered. As a community leader, I also run a YouTube channel with 2,520 subscribers, where I actively create content about Elite Dangerous to engage and grow the player base.

Home Station: Korolyov Hub
Primary Activities: Trade, exploration, system development, and player-driven events.

Home System: Arawere

Even if Frontier were to allow an exception to the closure of faction creation, the Arawere system is already the home system to one PMF - the Barbera Crew. (They're present in 59 systems and controlling 22, which implies they're also strongly supported, though that wouldn't matter)

The most relevant rules for system selection before the closure were:
- must be an inhabited system within 500 LY of Sol
- no permit or otherwise "special" systems
- no other PMF present in the system (controlling or otherwise)

I don't want to imply you'll have better chances of success if you pick a system which fits those rules, but I do think you have no chance if you don't.

Hi, i'm CMDR Templatar The Keeper, and i'm proud member of UASR Ukrainian Space Republic.

In view of the upcoming update on colonization, I would be very happy if it were possible to register our society. Without such a point, it will not be interesting to engage in colonization. With our faction it will be possible to unite our people around a common goal and make the content more personal and valuable.

To add to this, there is nothing stopping any group from adopting any faction, including a PMF created by another group, even if it is still supported by that group. eg: Kumo Crew! Who wouldn't want to support the biggest burger franchise in the galaxy?!

@OP - in addition to what others have said, this is not the right place to ask for such an exception anyway. You could mail FD privately or DM a community manager. Imagine if FD somehow granted an exception, it would open the floodgates to everyone claiming they were special and they should also be granted an exception as well. FD can't do that in response to a public appeal, and won't likely to a private one either.
