Request for providing XBox One controller Layout for PC

Hey every1, I have a request to the devs or anyone having the xbox one version. Since the release of E:D on Xbox One, I have been trying to find the controller layout settings FD designed for the console version. It would be very helpful if anyone could direct me in the right direction as to where to look for the layout settings. I have an Xbox One controller and would like to use the settings designed by FD to play E:D on my PC.

Regards,
Starkiler107

I currently use my XB1 pad to play ED on my pc with no necessity for keyboard whatsoever as you can fully customise the controller to suit you. What's your issue exactly I don't understand? Below is the old, basic, Frontier layout guide if that's any help to get you started?

Thnx for the help DJ. Will try it out right now. Having a difficult time assigning all the controls eg: Roll and Lateral Thrust to the right controller. Anymore suggestions from your side would be more than welcome.

Using options menu and custom controls dropdown, start it off with "controller with yaw" (or similar i think it was) and adjust it from there. Top tip is to change swop the shoulder buttons to firing, and then you can use the triggers as "continuous" for velocity in true analogue fashion like any good racing game.

For your roll, i get best with the "low yaw into roll" drop down option. Put the smallest amount of deadzone slider on each axis else you'll likely drift off course (unless your pad's very worn and need to use more.)

For lateral thrusters, you may need to invert the axis with the tickbox and do the same further down the list for "landing pad override." It makes docking a doddle!

It took ages during premium beta to settle on what mapping works best.

Final tip, you can assign double presses ie I have x for boost, x+up for hyperspace, x+down for supercruise and so forth. Drop the "deploy hardpoints" button in teh layout above in favour of "deploy hardpoint on firing" option, then that little button can be the precursor for all sorts ie I have button+a = landing gear, button+y = cargo scoop, button+right stick depress for headlook mode. It'a a godsend, and that's how to get rid of a need for keyboard (except for text chat of course!) and just use the XB1 pad.

(Monk's post is ideal you ninja you!)
