Engineers Request for Sound Team: Option to toggle supercruise sound on/off

Hi all

Im not sure if this has been requested yet but today I experienced the bug where supercruise sound disappears completely and it was unbelievable. Space actually sounded and felt like space in VR, just an eerie silence. All I could hear were the faint distant hums of bodies and the slow grumble of the planets as I approached. Dropping out of Orbital Cruise was breathtaking as the sound kicked in again with the groan of the atmosphere. It really felt like a completely different world between space and the surface.

If one of the devs or the Sound Team see this, please can we get a simple on/off toggle for the supercruise sound, such as they did with orbit lines, so that we can hear all the amazing little audio details that are out there. I apologise for ranting on but it added so much to the experience and if others feel the same way please add to the thread for visibility.

I have to agree. I experienced the no supercruise sound bug for myself the other day, and it was amazing. I didn't want to drop out of warp for ages, I just scooted about listening to that incredible dynamic soundscape that honestly doesn't get the attention it deserves. An engineer mod for an insulated FSD or just an audio toggle option would be very much appreciated.

I've came across this, too. Having the option to turn the SC sounds off would be nice, it was...kinda surreal, but very enjoyable!

There was a bug the other day where my screen turned black and it was just amazing!
Can we have an option to turn all the graphics off too?

OMG! AWESOMESAUCE!!!!!
ps I have found that using the volume button...

Omitting the supercruise 'engine' sounds and allowing for the ambient noises around you to be more prevalent is not quite the same as simply turning the volume down.

Great observational and reading skills, though. :p

You re not the first to request it.
I thought it was a joke.
...But I experienced it and...yeah, it feel surprisingly relaxing.

more "realism" ... "sounds" nice. Seriously, somtimes I wish space would be really dark, but ofc that is another topic

you could always do human beatbox sounds
Oh mate, just go away, you have no business here.
I love your type of humor, just imagine me with my fingers in my ears going "nananana! can't hear you"
