[Request] Increase SC Acceleration curve after a certain distance from main star

I would like to request that after a certain distance away from the main star, or a certain distance from the outer most body of the "Main" system objects, that the acceleration curve should increase.

I have read a thread somewhere, where they wanted to include microjumps because some systems have large distances between certain objects.

Hutton Orbital comes to mind.

anyway, from a design standpoint, having to rewrite the jump system to accommodate microjumps seems to be asking for more effort to solve an issue then necessary. Supercruise provides a very easy fix for this, and that is just adjust the acceleration curve upward after a certain point so that the long slogs aren't as long.

and the good thing about this suggestion is that it can be tweaked after the fact, adjustment not enough, then up it slightly, too fast for the devs taste then adjust it down slightly until a happy medium is found.

this way the community feels that they aren't tied to a strict acceleration curve and the devs can still keep the feeling of expanse that the game should have. while at the same time having a much simpler fix then recoding the jump system.

+1 rep to you, good sir. Just s light addition to your suggestion though - different types of FSD. The new "standard" FSD can have the new acceleration curve and normal hyperspace range, another can have the old acceleration but better hyperspace performance, an "interceptor" with a faster SC but shorter hyper range (thus restoring the Viper to its original role as an oversized, up-gunned Condor), etc.

something to think about, but I was trying to come up with a solution with least amount of Dev time as possible.
