Request: Integration of Shows and Parades in Planet Coaster 2

Hello, Planet Coaster 2 development team and community!

A key element of many theme parks around the world is the inclusion of captivating shows and vibrant parades that create unforgettable experiences for visitors. These features were missing in the original Planet Coaster, and adding them would greatly enhance the atmosphere and design possibilities for theme parks.

I propose that Planet Coaster 2 includes a system for designing and hosting shows and parades. This would allow players to create custom shows with various effects, music, and choreography, as well as organize parades along park paths, bringing a more realistic and dynamic feel to the parks we build.

Benefits of Shows and Parades:

• Increases immersion and provides guests with additional entertainment options.
• Allows players to create creative shows with lighting, music, and special effects.
• Offers the opportunity to hold grand parades along park paths, exciting visitors and highlighting special events.

I hope the development team considers integrating shows and parades into Planet Coaster 2, giving us more tools for creative expression. Thank you to the team and community for reading and for your feedback!

Shows are more relevant to theme parks than pools and flumes...

How could we get shows in PC2?

I think black boxes aren't wanted and not up to date!
But still thinking to have shows mostly in self made buildings (maybe open air, too)...

In PZ there are podiums for watching animal talks at specific times.

This could be a base for shows...
We need some variations of modules to create different types, shapes, and sizes for seating. These will get connected and attached to a stage. Then we could set a schedule for the shows.

Now we have to think about visualisation...
Shows are very unique and difficult to represent.
What about a screen (we already got some) showing videos (maybe short provided PC style versions with music and planco voices plus an option for custom videos)?
Then we could place different stages or create them with given geometric pieces. Additionally we need some stage decorations like curtains, smaller spotlights and some other common stuff.
The whole show set up could get organised with a event sequencer.

(Maybe including new staff: artists, yes they would kinda disappear on stage if showing videos. Haven't thought further)

Remember the Kara Oki concert stage in RCT3? While it was a limited set show, peeps would gather before the stage and even dance. So it's something they've done before, seems like they could do something even better in the years since that came out.

If they could build off that base idea even, with a stage that's customizable, maybe different sets of animated character performing (like the barbershop quartet in PC1) that you could mix and match different entertainers, customize your stage, even build a theater around it.

Imagineer John made a RCT3 custom ride that simulated bleachers that peeps would sit in Not an ideal answer in PC, but it shows that the community itself has had a request for such things for years.

Shows could be somewhat possible (Remember RCT3?) But I highly doubt parades are possible given that the game's engine is already kind of pushing it...

I think there's 3 modes that would be awesome to have:
1. The static show that's on a podium. Could also variables like water shows, lasershows, fireworkshows, music shows etc.
2. Parades, so moving shows that go from point A to point B. Options with mascots, music, dancing
3. Pre-attraction shows for extra story elements in your attractions
