Sorry if this has already been suggested but I'm a newbie, one week in.
One thing that strikes me as I dock is that to look up news, gal net or local, I have to drill down in menus. I think adding a visible, but not intrusive scrolling news feed, like on sky news, would give a greater sense of immersion and distinction between different starports... And of course if you land at a totalitarian dictatorship I would expect to see nothing but promotional propaganda etc...
