I'm currently trying to persuade the Federation to stop treating me as hostile. I did something to annoy them right from the start and have been having great trouble trying to sort it out.
After asking on the forums, it looks like my problems have been caused by bounty hunting criminals who are Federation affiliated and by doing missions for opposing factions. To try to stop doing this, I've started paying closer attention to affiliations before engaging/accepting. Hopefully this will pay off soon!
This is, however, quite time consuming, and possibly dangerous when deciding to engage a hostile target.
Would it be possible to add the insignia of the affiliated faction to the target info panel? This would make the decision much quicker to make.
Alternatively, you could add federation/empire/alliance/local insignias to the "Wanted" label to indicate who wants them!
Similarly for the bulletin board, could we have insignias by the faction name? Currently, I have to look up the faction in the right hand panel before deciding whether to accept - and it annoys me!
