Ok, so in my many adventures in elite There is one aspect of the game of which I have shown almost no consideration for...Powerplay. It is long and tedious to gain points, the pay Is rubbish (make 3 times as much in a week doing trading) , Military strikes almost never appear and worst of all. most of the weapons are rubbish with a few very good exceptions.

Ok so the weapons may not be up to par, but they could at least be a little better? all of the weapons bar the Prismatic shield gen are restricted to one size and class. more often this restricts the use of these weapons on a vast amount of ships. (eg, no small pacifier for smaller-medium vessels and using it on larger ones like the anaconda is somewhat counter productive). I would very much like to have pack hound missiles on my Anaconda but I don't want to sacrifice my engineered pulse turrets of doom... a simple downgrade to class 1 would fix this problem following the classic "less is more" approach. and so what if smaller vessels have it?! after the time and effort it takes to earn it for a minor advantage they deserve it!! :)

Basically my proposal is to have all powerplay weapons match their standard counterparts in size and ability. this includes decreasing and increasing sizes if necessary. as well as setting turret and gimbal features to those that are currently fixed (retributor, cytoscambler, enforcer cannon ect.) in doing so we could create a much wider spectrum of customisability in powerplay and make weapons that are totally useless somewhat better, and make useful weapons more...well useful haha :)
