Request: remove the CQC rank from the main game

I'm not saying they should kill CQC, just remove the rank from the main game. Either that or integrate CQC into Elite so we won't have to leave the game to queue for a match.

Another vote to remove, although I like the suggestion to make all ranks only appear once some progress has been made. I'm triple elite & 0% helpless and have been for a long time. I'd be happier if I were simply Triple Elite again.

This is why it's practically dead; this is why they had to cancel the tournament a few years ago.. simply no interest because someone at Frontier was so disconnected from the player-experience that they actually believed having your player-base log out to the main-menu was a sensible way to get people to play it.

There was so much they could have done with it, it's unreal.

Oh, I don't know... I used to support removing it, but now I kinda look fondly upon my HELPLESS 0% Rank as a bit of a badge of honor that I never got sucked into that one.

My rank hasnt changed since the day it turned up on my UI, utterly pointless, never used cqc doubt I ever will.

Its way past time it got removed why did it turn up in the first place.

Well I must be somebody versus nobody the OP described as the CQC entry is totally OK with me. It doesn't bother me a bit. It is amazing how the smallest things can upset players. It is just another goal one doesn't have to do. Then those who excelled at it love it on the main game display along with their other three Elite reps. Enough with silly posts.

I think the Cqc rank should be replaced by a rank which is based on PvP in general.

I also agree with this, nobody will get any benefit by removing the rank, it'll just upset those who do care about it.

I do try cqc on Tues nights on xbone, if (if.....) there is a game, get mashed up by experienced players and slowly advance my rank. Lvl 20 takes ages by the way.
If cqc were to stay (and not really bothered, it bears little relation or connection to the main game) then it for sure needs an improvement.
The time between matches doesnt allow to edit loadouts. It is best done for all your ships before joining a match.
I only played Tdm once and CTF never.
A lobby system or npc fillup is required to know if anyone will join.
Yes stick the thing at a busy in game station, so one can join directly from open.
Or close the darn thing down
Or let it fester (fd option)
Cmdr amateur cqc
Oh and remove the crazy achievements like
Win 250 cqc matches, prestige (is that ranking ever explained)
How about cqc explorer that could be fun (ner)
