Just a couple of quick requests to the devs regarding the system map and galactic map.
System Map: Could you please configure the system map to remember the last tab setting that was used or have a user setting that allows us to set the default tab please. Having it automatically default to the system tab is irritating, especially when (as an explorer) I am much more interested in the info tab.
Galactic Map: Would it be possible to add a navigation aid to the top right corner of the map that allows you to set a destination system as the origin (in effect your own North) and also shows your position in relation to the galactic plane (a space version of an artificial horizon). In the mock-up the compass has N, E ,S and W but I would envisage it with degree markings instead.
Why would I want this? Well, I don't know about other explorers but I don't like being tied to a particular route but I do want to be able to set a destination system then pick my own way towards it. Having a nav aid would allow you to set the destination then wander where you want and be instantly able to tell where you want to head towards.
