This thread is to request some specific enhancements to wing navigation, or at least plant some seeds. My hope is that if you (the reader) agree, you will comment in the thread and with enough numbers we might gain the attention of the developers and see improvements along these lines.
In the following suggestions, I will be referring to the target of my nav lock as the nav leader.
1) Wing Nav setting. Include a toggle in the galaxy map to plot routes based on the most restrictive jump range in a wing.
2) Expand Nav Lock to adopt the nav leader's plotted route when engaged, and jump with them
3) Eliminate the Nav Lock induced delay. As I've observed, if my nav leader goes to supercruise, my FSD is not engaged until they make the actual jump. Rework so that as soon as the nav leader starts his/her FSD, mine starts charging but does not execute until the nav leader executes. Also my FSD aborts if nav leader aborts.
