Any chance of getting the ability to exit your ship in a suit to carry out repairs to critical components like thrusters or sensors preventing a landing?
Also some sort of challenge like a time limit to your oxygen to carry out the repairs as well, or maybe jury rig a weapon that has to be sacrificed in order to get you home.
