Requesting a player faction - federation aligned Feudal possible?

According to eddb.io, there is a single Federation-Feudal player faction but it's not in any systems (which is strange). Searching on Inara, this faction does not even exist.

Can somebody who has requested a player faction tell me - is it possible to request a feudal, that is aligned with the federation?

I have found some oddities with EDDB's faction list - such as a strange new third Imperial Democracy, of which there are only supposed to be two. The issue came up after my most recent Galactic Summary post.

Apparently, anyone can manually add a faction to the EDDB database.

As for the OP's request: no. Feudalism, and authoritarianism generally, is outlawed in the Federation.

Hmm, I really wish FDev would fix the Zachary Hudson powerplay bonuses - he is strong against Feudal and Patronage for both expansion, and control. Which means players fighting for Hudson in his control territory often find themselves fighting against federal factions, killing federal navy ships and capital ships, and gaining unfriendly reputation with the federation. It makes no sense. It should be strong against Feudal and Patronage for expansion, but strong against Federal factions for control...

I don't think it needs fixing, rather it's very deliberate and a reflection of Hudson's ruling method, just like how Aisling's best factions are non-Imperial... since her ideals and world-view are almost universally against the grain of normal Imperial society.

I believe Hudson's support base is a reflection of his ideals being good for him and what he stands for, but not the Federation at large. I think that's actually reasonably representative of politics at large.

*notwithstanding a massive, long winded discussion about moral values and convictions of the powerplay leaders... I mean, taking Hudson's opening statement: https://elite-dangerous.fandom.com/wiki/Zachary_Hudson he believes strength comes through adversity and struggle. Why wait for that adversity to happen and strengthen you, when you can be the agent of adversity, in order to strengthen the whole.... that's Hudson's take imo.

I agree it is poor form for the Devs to apply this kind of conflict to Hudson but not to all other powers. But I derive quite a bit of enjoyment from the challenges of opposing ambient traffic in Hudson territory. So swings & roundabouts ;)
