Requesting larger joystick button use

As per title

Currently the max is 32 buttons, which, with a hotas that has 51 makes half of them unused
prior this wasn't so much an issue, but now with the added commands for discovery etc. I really could use a few more dedicated buttons instead of (even more) shift functions

Better to just use a third party (or manufacturer) utility to remap as extended keyboard presses.

The powerful utilities let you setup macros and modifiers beyond what any game will ever support.

was my initial suggestion in the other thread, but some manufacturers, like Virpil, does not offer this for their throttles, so that was a no go solution, but other players have found other solutions to get around this 32 buttons limit.
