Requests for QOL and ways to encourage spending

I've been thinking for a while of ways to make life better in game, and also ways to incentivize buying things with ARX.

First and foremost, Frontier will want to make money. I want to have reason to spend money. I will spend money on things that I consider a decent value and I think I will use. I will hesitate on things I am not sure I will use. To help with that, I would like to request a way to join more than one account to the items purchased with ARX. This is intended to be similar in concept to having more than one commander / joining accounts / multiple accounts under one name. Essentially, a way to link accounts so that if I purchase a voice pack or a paint job, I can use it on all my Commanders. Maybe this needs a limit on how many, maybe it limits how many can be logged in with a combined account at once, but it would still be nice to have ARX store items for more than one commander.

SCO and efficiency. Yes, I realize the new ships needed their day in the sun for their prowess of SCO drives. However, their stats and their command of the SCO completely blow out most of the other older ships in travel ability. To remedy this, bringing the fuel economy and heat generation more in line with the new ships would go a long way to level the playing field. This isn't recommending that the old ships be as good as the new, just to relax the fuel use and heat generation, and maybe calm the wild ride down just a bit. I would like to be able to explore in my Dolphin without having to sacrifice being able to get to the next planet quickly because I am burning through fuel so fast.

Speaking of planets, it would be nice to have a smoothed out transition from planetary gravity speeds in SCO to deep space speeds. If you don't time it right you go from barely outside the gravity of a planet to outside the planetary system very quickly.

Additional fire buttons. It would be nice to have a few extra fire button options, especially now that console is in its own category and not part of Odyssey.

Supercruise Assist. I know just about everyone wants a keybind for this.

Faster count ramp up to transfer cargo to/from your carrier. When you buy things in a station, you can quickly and easily ramp up to max. This does not seem to exist when transferring to your carrier. It would be nice to have the same ramp up speed for moving cargo on your carrier.

Mission Chains. Some way to chain missions where there is background, story, and some kind of payoff. Perhaps you start with a data delivery mission, then they ask you to eliminate some pirates that have been harassing them and preventing deliveries. Then, you get a mission to take more data to another port so they can reinforce their defenses. Something to make the missions cohesive rather than all individual and unrelated.

These are my thoughts. It would be nice to have some of these brought in game.

An odometer in the SRV - you want to see if you've travelled far enough to the next plant? Tough! Get out and get a "no diversity" message. Put an odometer in to see how far you've gone.

Per-ship cargo. The game wants us to have specialised ships, that;s fine. But when I fill my miner up with limpets then decide I want to do some other missions, I cannot because the cargo space is too full. Or worse, when I swapped my main ship to the miner to do some mining for a bit, the corrosive cargo burned a hole in it, so I couldn't go mining. The game actively prevented me from playing as it wants. let me keep cargo in the ship I bought it in.

Rework limpets. There's only bad reasons buying limpets is hidden in a sub menu on a sub menu. Put limpets in the controller like ammo (or fighters) and have them return to the controller after use. Its a particularly bad "game balance" to require you to fill up cargo space with the things, let alone restock them manually if they get killed by PD, crashing into rocks, or whatever.

Autopilot button. . Yes, its also essential for those times you want to deactivate supercruise assist.

Allow selling exobiology from the main dock menu. We can do this for cartography, but for some reason you have to get out and walk to the genomics shop to sell plant data. And to make it worse, if you die, you lose all your plant scans. If there's no space for this on the menu, let the scans remain intact on death so you can sell them later if you forget (or can't face another slow walk to the concourse every time you dock).

Merge the Missions/Passengers into the single missions screen. Why have that popup when the passenger missions types can easily be placed as groups in the mission screen. Its annoying clicking through it, every time.

And stop with the rotating landing pad on planets or outposts - why does it spin around just for you to take off vertically!?
