RES are back! <3 FD

Today there was a patch that fixed the way NPC's spawn, and what rank they spawn with.

I can gladly say that I may never, ever, trade a commodity again!

This also fixed the NPC's ranking in NAV Beacons and Conflict Zones!

I was at a High intensity RES and it was a blast, Master/Deadly/Dangerous Clippers, Python and Federal Dropships, 150-250k a pop..Not Anacondas, though.
 
The CZ I was in yesterday, was only Elites, Big and small ships, did about 45 mins, before, bugging out, in my little Viper.

Not working for me, tried at least 5 different systems with High RES, nothing. Some addlers, cobras, eagles, vipers. Nothing else. And they spawn VERY slow.

How do you find good ones?
 
Medium Security High Population seems to work wonders for me.

I wonder what Low Security High Population Systems would do, if I could find one and test.

Same for me. The ranks were indeed fixed, but only managed to find smaller ships.
Going to try a few other places tomorrow, in the hopes of better payouts.
 
I'm also having troubles finding big wanted ships (in Dvorsi and surroundings). All I get are sidewinders, eagles and adders, with some cobras and vipers mixed in. Have they also changed the spawning algorithms? Do you guys think this is intentional, or some of us are just having bad luck?
 
RES still sucks - only adders...
In pristine metal-rich ring, before 1.3 i made here about 4 000 000/h.

am i doing somethink wrong?
 
For about a week now i only find small ships at every RES type. This is really frustrating because before 1.3 i was doing about 2-3 000 000/h. Now i can barely get 1 000 000 after 1,5-2 h at a RES spot.
 
I'm trying to get an explanation how RES Sites work in conjunction with System Security Levels and Powers, but Noone seems to know - _ - FDEV PLEASE HEAR MY DAMN CALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL
 
I thought that high intensity was supposed to mean more pirates, but nothing to do with their combat level. (low intensity, less pirates + authority ships).

Or did that change?

Beyond that we will have low and high intensity resource extraction sites. At low intensity sites there is lower output for mining, but also a heavier system authority presence and lower pirate presence. For the high intensity sites this is reversed, so is more dangerous with more pirates and less security, but also greater rewards for mining there.
