RES-Hunting in a Wing

IMHO its not profitable anymore when you bought a python ... or maybe already with a vulture.

You can kill the bounties faster than they appear, so you dont need any help from another ship(s), but you have to share the money.
Of course its ok to share the bounty with your friends, but still it is less profitable and even more when grinding for a community goal ...

What do you think? Maybe one could just pay all wing members the full bounty? Or implement something similar to the wing-trading-system?
Another solution might be a higher spawn rate fpr wings?

As it is right now, you always have to decide: Less profit (which means by 50%), or playing without your friends ...

I believe with the Powerplay update, this will change due to additions of low and high-tier RES locations.

Yeah hopefully this will sort things out. I agree with the OP. You often have to make a choice between playing with friends in a wing and maximising credits. :(

Give wings the option of either sharing bounties or if you want some competition then the winner takes all.

I don't know. I have started a Mentoring Agency where experienced Commanders can help teach new Commanders how to play the game. While it is true that my Anaconda can destroy Sidewinders in under 3 seconds, if I am winged up with 3 new Commanders, and we work together as a team, they not only can learn, they will share any bounties earned.

I RES hunt in a wing for the social aspect of it. If I am RES hunting for credits I will go somewhere by myself or move to solo...

I don't look at RES hunting in wing like I'm loosing money, it's all about fun and good time for me. Flying around with my mates, earning some cash and killing NPCs or CMDRs.

I actually don't think it's that much less profitable. In a wing of 2, I make comparable amounts to being on my own over the same period. Perhaps not as much as in those fluke situations where I run into a string of huge bounties solo, but close to the average.

I think this is because:

2 pairs of eyes = find the best targets quicker

2 sets of guns = take the big targets down faster.

Also, we tend to pick off the smaller targets like, say, Eagles individually, so don't lose any money off those.
