Now, we all know that piracy isn't very profitable, and it is far less so in a Resource Extraction Site, but I just had some fun doing it! I'm flying the Viper in the Mac Crossplay Beta, and I'm in Leesti. It's actually a lot of fun to snoop around the very edges of the site, where very few NPCs spawn, and hunt little NPCs like sidewinders. I only got 2t of cargo out of that quick trip, less than 5 minutes, but the sneaking about and striking without warning was VERY fun.
I know that FD focused on the heat mechanics a bit for 1.2, and I'm starting to appreciate that.

EDIT: I bought the Viper Pirate skin for the occasion, which is the first skin I've bought! Aside from TrackIR, that's now $80.00 USD I've spent on the game.
