Rescanning previously scanned worlds

Hi, can all previously scanned worlds be re-scanned at a later date?I.e. can you rescan these worlds again using the advanced and surface scanners to collect exploration profits multiple times? Or is there restrictions on some planets being rescanned?Thx.

Sorry, but you can only scan anything once. The only exception is if you scan with a level 2 scan (i.e. without a Detailed Surface Scanner) and you return with a DSS and rescan the planets/stars.

Edit: If you scan with a level 2 and then rescan with a level 3 you will get the extra credits for the detailed scan. But that is additive. Once you scan with level 3 you cannot rescan.
