Well, thank Braben that 1.3 patch is on its way and (hopefully) a way for players to have their revenge on the affluent and immoral

Again, initiative from within will have more chance to bring change and do it faster then joining a society that regards corruption as a virtue or fighting one uphill battle after another from the other side of colonized space.

There should really be a slave liberation mechanic... Something similar to the forfeiture of contraband they were playing with when marked cargo was a thing. Maybe they give you some fraction of cost to reduce losses and you get a big rep gain...obviously it has to be a system that prohibits slavery...but you could at least know theyre set free
