Resetting target count when receiving counter offer

Does anyone know if the bug of 'the target count for pirates/trader kills being reset when you receive a counter offer' has been fixed?
This annoyance is stopping me taking missions of this type as it happens so often

it happened to me a couple of days ago, so.. nope.

Had this a bunch of times, es me off to no end so stopped doing missions until I see a fix in the patchnotes.

To get round this, I just enter USS till I get the 'reset' guy, then I start the mission for real.

Takes a bit longer but saves all the annoyance

No it is definitely not fixed yet and it is a huge annoyance, especially when you must find your targets in an area where they are scarce.
I do still take these missions, because it gives me an opportunity to train my self-composure.

I tend to get the 'reset' guy first for some reason. I listen to what he offers then take no notice and just do the original mission. Not had any problems, as yet.
