So what in the universe are these things? Here I am with 4 of the damn things and nobody wants them. I see the galactic average is around 5,500 and I got them for 5,100 but everywhere I go they seem to be the same price - 5,100. Where can I get rid of these blasted things! And what's good trading nowe that P Cells are all out?

If you bought them at somewhere cheap - let's say "Aulin", you might want to wander over to WCM to flog them for 20k a Cobraload profit.
If you've "acquired" them through nefarious means, you want to head to Freeport and flog them on the black market. It's an Anarchy - careful or you'll become cannon fodder.

They are used in ore extraction, find somewhere that has a mining economy...
You can get rid of them at Freeport for a healthy profit.
As for a replacement milk run, I'm working on that myself. I reckon the scale of profits from p-cells were artificially high anyway, probably not going to get those sorts of returns again.

Sell them at LHS3006, station is called WCM. They seem to eat them for breakfast.
It's at one of the locations where the system name is a number. Not the other one... THAT one! Lovely quiet location but absolutely adams to trade back - probably some ore for 5k profit a run.
That run is one of the fastest turnarounds due to the location of both stations in relation to the jump arrival point.

I think they are high frequency vibrating screens, basically an automated sifter for getting heavy particulates out of lighter ores.
Freeport love them, for seperating out the Gold from their minerals from mining.
