Respawn other side of the Galaxy?

I am starting out in a Sidewinder with a fuel scoop and am trying to get to Sol. It seems impossible because I keep hitting dead ends. I don't mind grinding ot get there (I'm an enormous distance from Sol) - any advice on how I can circumnavigate easier - do I need a better ship for example?

Also is there an website with a live update on the economies market anywhere...?

Yes, simply do some missions until you get a Hauler. It's a fine ship for traveling and scooping fuel doesn't take ages with even the not-so-good scoops. When you get a better ship, as the Cobra, forget about scooping with an E-quality scoop. It takes 12 minutes to fill half-way up.

Or just stick with Hauler until they get to Sol - Hauler's pretty fuel economic and jumps more than decent with good FSD.

Get some cash together to upgrade your ship's frameshift drive, the stock jump range is very limiting, getting it up to 10-12ly will make worlds of difference.

Yeah, that's what I wanted to say with that - stick to the Hauler. It can do about 19LY jumps.

Just be careful to scoop at every possibility, the tank is not big.

If you go to SOL check out the Moon base - it's nice and has some refreshing interior!

If your just flying to sol. Try selling your shields, Weapons and Scanners so you can fly long distance. Then do trade runs. until you get the hauler.
