Response to Colonization Updates

What would be very logical in the wake of the colonisation update is that they bring back PMF creation, since new space will be available

Forcing anyone interested in colonisation to join or found squadrons is a poor idea, limiting the accessibility of a brand new feature is not the way to sell it to the players. That was the kind of mistake they made with PP1. It's not necessary for PP2 and it shouldn't be necessary for colonisation.

I'm not suggesting you are forced into a squardon
But squardons should have a purpose in game and a benefit of some kind. Currently squardons have nothing, no reason or benefit

Last few weeks I've been going on a Nebula Sight Seeing Tour. I started out to go and see SagA but decided while en-route, to go Nebula jumping. I made it out to the Eagle (via Lagoon, Trifid, Omega) before turning around and heading back toward the bubble then on to Orion, Horsehead, North American, Sadr and Elephant's Trunk ... and I'm not done.

As mentioned above, there are several asteroid bases around some of these Nebula. It would be great if one of my favorite Nebula was built up enough with player bases to add business activities (trade and passenger activities). I still enjoy hauling people around and shipping agricultural products. I doubt I'll get involved in base building but I hope others create a resort area in the Horsehead or Orion sectors or both. The potential of Colonization is great.

Just visited a few of them. There is potential, if Frontier allows it.

I sincerely hope that the 10ly range is reviewed and expanded - my PMF is pretty much boxed in on all sides by other PMF's, with only three uninhabited systems available within 10ly of any of our systems, and all three of those offer only one more 'hop' before becoming dead-ends...
